Today we had storms both in morning and afternoon. One person was killed;trees down, inch and a half size hail and houses damaged. Power failed and places were closed. My culvert is almost completely uncovered. My sister is dealing with temperatures in the hundreds and no rain.

Holy cow! I hope your house is undamaged. You mentioned that your family is visiting - I hope they can have a good time despite the storm.
O my goodness. I didn't know you had storms there- haven't talked to anyone today. We got caught in a thunder/lightning storm while on a walk today, and I was glad to get back in the house!
