Mother Nature's April Fools Joke

She did have a good one! All the schools around are closed because of snow and ice we received. My front steps railings have about 5 inches of snow on them. They had to plow the roads and they are plowed but have a layer of ice. Joy Joy!
That is what living where I do means. But I can remember when I took my first snow day while working. It was in the middle of May. Hope you all have a great day. God Bless

I meant to write this yesterday...you actually got snow. But we didn't around here. Apparently someone for an April Fool's joke told their kid it had snowed 6 inches and there was no school. "April Fool's". Cracked me up.

Ah, when we lived in Maine it always snowed in late April (usually right around my birthday). I adored June in Maine; it's when all the spring bulbs bloom, and coming from Florida I had never seen any of them in real life before. Spring always blooms eventually, but in the meantime ... stay warm! :o)
