Would you believe it. The state is closed-all state offices-all the state run universities-Workers at these places don't have to come in unless they are emergency workers. I can't remember a time when everything in the state was shut down. It is white and quiet!:(
I am sitting in my house watching the snow and wind. :) I have a pot of chili and crackers to eat on this day. Stay safe and don't go anywhere.

Wow - brand new outfit! Very stylish, clearly laid-out, well arranged. Congratulations, I think it is well done.
We have strong winds and rain, no snow yet. Next week it is said to become cold with below freezing point at daytime. I have not to work in this week for some days and will start coming Monday again, then non-stop until 31st, everynight holydays included. we will have snow down to 500 meters aboce sealevel, what means that outside the city the mountains will be white.
I will have no tree or special decoration. A friend has a kind of arrangement from boughs, with selfmade stars from straw. On the Sundays of Advent a candle will be lit.
I hope you have a warm house Joyce, and all the work and effort your sons put in over the year was successfull.
I heard about the bad weather on the news. Stay warm.
